The Common Sense Party (Sağduyu Partisi) was founded on 4 September 2002. It is known as the party of the Nakşibendi Sect, lead by Nureddin Coşan after the death of Mahmut Esat Coşan. This group has strong political influence, especially on the religious and conservatist part of the society. The party leader is Mehmet Yücel Ağargün.
